Christmas in June for the Animals

Thank you to everyone who donated toys and treats to the animals and came to distribute them. The animals had and great time! A special thank you to Nancy Gawlinski and Karen Grenda for organizing the event.

Paws in the Park

Thank you to everyone who came to Wicker Park on June 20th to support the 17th annual Paws in the Park Walk-A-Thon and Pet Fair. A special thank you to all of the volunteer who spent the day in the excessive heat. The staff and animals at the shelter appreciate everything you do!. Thank you to all of the business that had booths at the event and raised money for the shelter, especially Auntie Barbara's who raised an astounding $5,000. Where Best Friends Meet

The HSCA thanks the astounding 605 people who attended our annual dinner, dance and silent auction held March 7th. The event was a great success. A very special thank you to all of the volunteers who helped make the event possible, our generous sponsors and to the many people who donated items for the acution.
