Chicago Rock 'n' Roll Half Marathon

Race registration is now closed. If you have already registered with the Marathon on their official site, you can run for us. Otherwise, there may be other charities that have purchased reserved spots. Please consider running for one of those worthy causes.

The HSCA is seeking runners and volunteers participating in the Rock 'n' Roll Chicago Half Marathon to run for Traveler's fund. We need volunteers to occupy our Cheer Station on the race course and our booth in the Charity Village. Sign-up to be a part of our team!

Why run for Traveler's Fund?
Traveler's Fund provides medical treatment for animals with special needs. All of the funds you raise will go directly into Traveler's Fund..

All runners will receive a team T-Shirt and a goodie bag full of fun stuff . Other prizes will be awarded for those raising more funds. Prize levels are as follows:

$100 - Team Singlet and T-Shirt
$200 - Team Singlet, T-Shirt, and HSCA Baseball cap
$300 - Team Singlet, T-Shirt, Baseball cap, and HSCA Sweatshirt
$500 - Team Singlet, T-Shirt, Baseball cap, Sweatshirt, and HSCA Windbreaker

How Do I Raise Funds?

Raise funds online by creating a fundraising page at Firstgiving.com.
Runners have held bake sales, garage sales, and sent letters to friends and family.
Set your goal high. Make a list of friends and family that may be willing to help and send them cards or contact at least one person on your list every day.
You may also wish to walk in memory of a person or pet. It's a nice way to remember a loved one and it can help focus your fundraising.
