As a private organization, the Humane Society Calumet Area receives no funds from any larger organization or government agency.
With a current operating cost of over $65,000 a month, the only way we can continue to operate is with the support of people like you. Private donations are not only our main source of income, they are our only source.
If you would like an opportunity to help change the lives of many animals, please consider making a monetary donation of any amount you feel comfortable with. Even if that means only a few dollars, please realize that every little bit makes a difference. Several different donation options are listed in the section at left.
If by chance you can't make a donation at this time, please consider doing your part to help the animals by volunteering some of your time at the shelter. We offer many different programs, and you can feel free to come whenever you have free time.
