Community Support Needed to Find Homes for Animals and Save More Lives
HSCA is one of 50 shelters nationwide competing in the ASPCA Rachael Ray $100,000 challenge. Our shelter could win a piece of the $600,000 in grant funding, but we win regarless by working with the community to save more lives.
Our goal is to adopt 675 animals to loving homes during the challenge. We can only do this with your support! Join us this June, July, and August to support our efforts to save more lives. We have adoption specials and events happening almost every weekend.
Our three main categories of events are Offsite Adoption Events (our animals available for adoption in other locations), Save Me Saturdays (no adoption fees for specific groups), and Empty the Shelter Weekends (no adoption fees for anyone on any animal). See our list of events below for dates and times.
Our challenge theme is "Rescue Me." Supporters like you save thousands of animals every year and we would like to honor others who make our communities better. See Save Me Saturday specials listed below for which groups on honored on what days. Event sponsors also get reduced adoption fee coupons for all employees. See Event Sponsor info for details.
