July is "Open Pit" Month at the shelter in honor of the often ignored Pit Bull Terrier. Come in any time this month to meet any of these great dogs. Like Sophie (pictured left), a five year old female.

Join us July 31 for "Open Pit" Friday. Each guest will receive a free hot dog and drink.

Any of the Pit Bull and Pit Bull mixes featured on this page is available for an adoption fee of only $100. Dogs must be 1 year or older to qualify for the promotion.

Adoption fee includes:

• Vaccinations
• Fecal Exam
• Heartworm test
• Microchip
• Special Obedience Class
